T04 followed the westerly route initially, leading to a Channel crossing to Brittany. On 6/9 it was at Les Sables d'Olonne, near the observatory where its mother S06 was seen during her migration on 21/8. Despite the efforts of local birdwatchers, T04 was not seen while he was in the area.

The temporary move 80km northwards on 12 -14 /9 was very surprising.

High quality transmissions were received from the area E of la Rochelle until 21/10 when they suddenly ceased.
