How to find us

We are a leisurely drive (15 minutes) from the A1 Stamford turn off. Travel West along the A606 towards Empingham, then take a left turn to Normanton and Edith Weston. After passing through these villages, the Lyndon Centre will be signposted on your right just after the Rutland Water Golf Course. If you’re travelling from the south, follow the A6003 towards Oakham and turn right towards Manton and Edith Weston. The Lyndon Centre will be signposted on your left after the Garden Nursery and Wellies Cafe.

Please use the interactive map above: Use the plus(+) and minus(-) signs to zoom in and out to get a general feel for our local area. Click on our blue place mark to see the full address. For a larger map click on the rectangular icon in the top right corner of the above map.

Lyndon is well worth a visit at any time of year, but as the video below filmed by Dave Cole shows, spring is a particularly special time.

This pass is only £37.00 per family if you are a member of the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust. (NB This pass does not give access to the Egleton reserve during the Birdfair weekend).

All the above rates give access to both the Egleton and Lyndon reserves.
Dogs (except guide dogs) are not permitted on the Egleton reserve under any circumstances. Dogs on leads are welcome at Lyndon.
