After breakfast and a little nap it was a full house in Manton Bay this morning as 5R joined his mate for a bit of a tidy up in the nest.
With the chicks now 3 weeks old – and getting bigger by the day, there isn’t too much room for moving around but the female still manages to rearrange a few sticks.
Earlier on Tim and Michelle visited Casterton Business and Enterprise College to talk to the Year 7s about how we’re using satellite tracking to understand more about Osprey migration. They also talked about our exciting plans to link schools along the Osprey migration flyways and watched a great video recorded by one of the Year 7 classes. Casterton happens to be Tim’s old school and he promised the class that we’d put a photo of them on the website – so here it is!
