“Inspired by Ospreys” – Osprey creative competition 2018 Results!

“Inspired by Ospreys” – Rutland Osprey Project competition 2018

As the Ospreys returned following their spring migration, the Rutland Osprey project launched its 2018 competition called “Inspired by Ospreys” during World Osprey Week (WOW!)

Entries in all three creative classes arrived in late May, with some multiple entries from our local schools as well as many individual entries by post and e-mail. The winning entries in each category and a selection of “highly commended” work will be on display at Oakham Library from Tuesday 5th June for two weeks.

The exhibition will then move to the Visitors Centre at the Lyndon Nature Reserve. It is free to visit the centre and look at the exhibition at the Lyndon Visitor Centre, but a permit must be purchased to enter the reserve and see the Rutland Ospreys.

Winning certificates will be sent to individuals or to their schools later this month.

And the results of the “Inspired by Ospreys” competition 2018 are……
