If you fancy trying Swarovski’s latest binoculars and telescopes, why not enjoy a day out watching the breeding Ospreys at Rutland Water on May 28th, as part of a special event being run by Rutland Water Nature Reserve and Swarovski Optik, in association with Bird Watching Magazine and In Focus?
Participants will meet at the Anglian Water Birdwatching Centre, Egleton, at noon, and hear about the progress of the Osprey Project from project officer Tim Mackrill, as well as the latest innovations from Swarovski.
After a buffet lunch (included in the cost), there’ll be a visit to the Lyndon Visitor Centre, with a walk to the hides to see Ospreys on the nest.
Finally, you’ll be able to enjoy a cruise on the Rutland Belle at 5pm, with commentary from reserve manager and Birdfair supremo Tim Appleton.
Throughout the day, you’ll be able to chat to experts from the Osprey Project and Swarovski Optik, plus members of the Bird Watching team, and to try Swarovski’s high quality optics.
Tickets are £25 per person, and with a maximum 50 places you should book early to avoid disappointment. Please call Christine or Debbie at Swarovski Optik on 01737 856 812 for more information and to buy your ticket or enquire at the Birdwatching Centre, Egleton or Lyndon Visitor Centre.
