It may come as no surprise that 9F has spent yet another day food begging on the nest in Manton Bay. Earlier in the week we noticed that 5R is starting to tire of his daughters voracious appetite and hasn’t been bringing so many fish back to the nest. This would usually be a hint for the youngster to leave and start fishing for herself but her mother seems to be encouraging the incessant calling by delivering regular meals. The young female is now the only juvenile left in Rutland and if last year is anything to go by, when 32(11) didn’t leave until 9th September, she could still be here for a few days yet.
