I am always surprised at how reptilian the chicks look at this stage; you can see where they have evolved from! Also pleased that the annoying bit of whatever it was directly in front of the camera has now disappeared. How long before you go in to ring them and we find out the sex of the chicks?

Hi Rosie, we’ll ring the chicks in about two weeks’ time. By then we should be able to sex them too.
