With 5R and his mate settled in Manton Bay, the countdown is on to incubation. Last year the female laid her first egg on 15th April. However, bearing in mind that she arrived five days later this spring, it might be that she will keep us waiting until the middle of next week this time around. Keep watching the webcam though because older, established pairs tend to lay earlier each year. As today’s video shows, they are continuing to do everything right in the mating department!
