Reserve expert day!

Struggling to think ahead for the summer, ideas for the kids running dry? Look no further! If you have kids between the ages of 12-16 who are looking to get outside, and hone their conservation and ecology skills, this is the perfect opportunity for them! Come and join in with the Reserve expert day, a brilliant opportunity for budding conservationists and nature detectives, sponsored by the fantastic Cameron Bespolka Trust. There will be lots to do, with plenty of activity sessions including bird ringing, an osprey study, bird identification using visual and sound clues, a feather and an owl pellet study, and more!

Students will have the opportunity to conduct their own ‘studies’ on the wildlife at Lyndon, documenting everything in a logbook we will provide, improving their ID skills and enjoying all the fantastic wildlife we have at the reserve. The experience is a whole day event, hosted at the Lyndon visitor’s centre and runs on Wednesday 31st July Children must arrive by 9.15 for a 9.30am start. Collection must be between 4.30 and 4.45pm.
