It’s March – a very exciting month for the Osprey Project! Soon, satellite-tagged osprey 30(05) will set off on her homeward migration, and about two weeks later she’ll arrive home in Rutland! We will be following her movements on our website, click here to go to our satellite tracking page.
The Lyndon Centre will be opening on 11th March – a week tomorrow! We have been busy preparing the centre and reserve ready for opening, and ensuring we have live links to the osprey nest cameras. The webcam will be back on our website soon before opening.
Monday work parties at Lyndon will soon be coming to a close, as there is a limit to the amount of practical work that can be done over the summer months. The work party team have achieved such a lot during the winter, we thank you all wholeheartedly! Here are some photographs by Sarah Box, taken on Monday when the team were tackling a willow fence near shallow water hide.
